STRESSED at 86% confidence. Financing selection tightens while specific optical products retain strong demand visibility. The complete Chinese original, six sections and two tables are preserved; English is a summary.

Research summary; this is not the complete original report.

The complete original report is in Chinese. This English page is a summary, not a full translation.

State: STRESSED, 86% confidence. This is the original report's research assessment, not a company-disclosed industry state. Financing selection has tightened without confirmed deterioration across several independent fundamental layers.

Demand/ROI: Firmus withdrew its IPO on October 8. This previously disclosed financing pressure is not counted as a new shock today. This summary does not establish industry-wide AI demand or hyperscaler deployment cuts.

Architecture and content per compute: Marvell raised its FY2028 revenue target to approximately USD 20 billion and FY2029 custom-silicon target to more than USD 12 billion on October 6. These are management targets, not realized revenue. Lumentum's CEO said on October 9 that demand for certain optical products covers capacity into early 2029. This does not establish irrevocable orders, industry-wide demand or a uniform content-per-compute measure.

TSMC September 2026 consolidated monthly revenue was NT$511,857 million, up 54.6% year on year; it includes non-AI business and is not AI orders or cash flow. The official table was issued on October 8. Dividing the NT$ million amount by 100 gives 5,118.57 units of NT$100 million. The earlier 5,118.6 reading was rounded, not a new increase.

Profit quality: No new comparable gross-margin, OCF, FCF or inventory observations are available today. Supply constraints and revenue growth do not establish better cash conversion. Feedback Gain refers only to demand visibility for specific optical components.

Falsification and next checks: Track whether financing setbacks delay construction, power delivery, equipment orders and supplier backlog, then test whether architecture upgrades translate into ASP, margins and cash flow. Reassess CASCADE only if independent layers deteriorate persistently. The complete Chinese original has now been restored; its research cutoff remains October 10, 08:17 Beijing time.
